Advent Season
The Christian tradition of Advent is a season of remembrance, looking ahead, and holding on to hope. Advent spans the four weeks leading up to Christmas, and the passing of each week is represented by lighting a candle with a specific meaning each Sunday.
Week 1: Hope
Week 2: Peace
Week 3: Joy
Week 4: Love
A fifth and final candle—called the Christ candle—is lit on Christmas Eve. The light of these candles is symbolic of the light of Christ, which pushes back the darkness.
This year Advent begins on Sunday, December 1st. We invite you to download the Advent devotional and follow along with us each week individually, with family, or group of friends.

Live Generously this Christmas
The gospel is, at its heart, good news of great joy. Those of us who are in Christ have already received the gift of hearing the good news. We are the fruit of a harvest already gathered in. But this good news of great joy is for all people—and we must share it with those who have yet to hear.
Every single lost, suffering, and marginalized person matters to God. When you give to our Year-End Offering, 10% goes to the Alliance Christmas Offering so that more people may experience the joy of the good news.
